Okay, for real this time, we’re almost done talking about Boston. More specifically, Meg details her recovery process from the weekend that was. Somehow, her recovery involves running another race at the Frederick Running Festival. Robbe and Thomas also dig into their fall marathon plans, and the team touches on a few new shoes. They talk a little bit about the Saucony Ride 15, as well as the all-new Brandblack Kaiju.
After that, Thomas and Meaghan sat down with Fitz Koehler, famed race announcer and the voice of some of the best marathons in the country. If you’ve run the LA Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon, Donna Marathon, or Big Sur Marathon, you know Fitz’s voice. She’s also inspired tons of school-age kids to get active with her program called The Morning Mile. We talk about all of that and more, including her cancer diagnosis and the book she’s written about her journey back to health.
