Once again Ashmei makes quality and style look effortless. The merino hoodie looks fairly simple until you start looking at the details. But who cares if it isn’t functional right?! That’s where the hoodie stands out. on cool windless days the merino regulates your body temperature and breathes like a dream. One of my runs in it started hi 30s (F) and ended close to 50. I was comfortable through the temp change by making slight adjustments like taking my hands out of the thumbholes, and pulling the zipper down a wee bit. On colder days the hoodie is an amazing mid layer. It’s athletic fit and isn’t bulky when you add a windproof shell and provided good insulation. My favorite feature of merino wool athletic gear is the anti microbial resistance the fiber has. Nothing is better than odor free running gear. You’ll appreciate and your running partners will love it. Ashmei gear isn’t cheap, prices are about level with LuLu Lemon. As a man I would pay extra to not have my clothes say LuLu Lemon on them.
