Hi Thomas - hope you got some great runs in this weekend. I seriously love the fall. Thanks for the guidance - I checked them out. Only thing is, I work down at Fort Meade and live in the city (Mt. Vernon). So, local group runs are ideal. My thing is, I don't prefer running along side another person but only to meet up to run, essentially, at the same time on the same route. Ha! It's just so I can keep my own pace and not feel like I'm keeping anyone.

I am an 8.45 to 9.45 usually for anything over 3 miles. If you are
interested in running either a half or full marathon you should check
out Charm City Run's training program. It is a great way to meet
other runners as well as a good way to prep.

Not fast. It depends on the distance, but I'll do 3-4 miles at 8.5 min miles and 9-10 at 10 min miles. And, I've never run more than 13 miles ever, so I can't imagine how many hours a marathon would take me. A lot.

It was nice meeting you too. There were several runners at the event
last night. What pace do you run?

I'm inspired already! Great meeting you at the Martini event, Thomas. I had no idea you were such an avid runner! I used to run very consistently and for good distances (not marathons...) while I was in the Army and for years afterward. But, I've lost focus - to some degree for lack of friends to run with! Chicago sounds fantastic - best of luck to you!
