I am not sure about this one. I was reading an article on Kara Goucher in RunnersWorld and she mentioned that she now wears a Phiten titanium necklace after she saw Paula Radcliffe wearing one when she won the NYC Marathon. So I looked them up online and dismissed the idea that the necklace would help my energy flow.  However, this past Saturday I was down in Harbor East and poked my head in a City Sports. Right up front they had a new display with all the Phiten gear.

I purchased the necklace and went for my first run with it today. No magical energy flow yet, I will let you know if and when the power surge comes. Check them out for yourself and see if you get any tangible results.

I got the phiten necklace, but wore it on my ankle on my 20 mile training run… I still bonked, about 15 miles into the run… Then again, it was a hot day, I had little sleep the night before (well, it was July 4th holiday so go figure), but I had to do my long run so I did it, and survived 20 miles with the phiten necklace (on my ankle). I have to say, I did not feel sore at all the next day (today), it was back to normal for me. I set this day as my rest day but I could’ve worked out… So I guess it does work… maybe.

I think it wouldn't make a sense, the energy flow will most likely comes form your heart and mind if you are really determined and you love what you are doing.
